Presenting A unique view of milford using HDR Landscape Photography
I really enjoy viewing this photo!
During my many years of early morning walks at the beach, this was the first time I saw a halo like this!
Love, peace, forgiveness
Words cannot really convey
God’s oneness with us
A blinding light to the eye that the photo cannot really capture.
It is very interesting how quickly the colors in the sky and clouds change early in the morning. A few minutes before this photo the clouds were completely gray. A few minutes later the sun was white, sky was blue and the clouds were dark and white.
I liked the reflection of the sun on the water and in the clouds.
I captured the sunrise just right this morning with its red rays shining on the rock.
Early February morning sunrise at Woodmont Beach.
This morning I thought of the great gift of perception we are given so we may enjoy these beautiful scenes.
The different bands of colors only last so long and then they disappear.
Thanksgiving morning 2021, the colors at Signal Rock just before sunrise.
Thanksgiving morning 2021, with the sun on the horizon.
At the start of my morning walk it seemed like there would be nothing interesting to photograph. Within 20 minutes and the start of sunrise, wow just look at the sky.
I really love looking at clouds, so I had to stop on my morning walk and take this photo.
The right place at the right time, I took this photo just as the sun was rising.
I took this photo from a different angle, below the rocks.
As I was viewing the sunrise, I noticed a woman sitting on a rock with her camera and also in the distance two fishermen also enjoying the same scene.
I just had to stop during my morning power walk (not so powerful these days) and take this photo.
It's interesting, once the sun comes up the early morning colors in the sky and water disappear.
The sun is front and center with other parts of nature playing its part to create this image.
It's neat how each sunrise is a little bit different because of the cloud formations.
The sun was brilliant as it shown above and through the fog onto the water..
There was just something about the view this morning that I had to capture in a photo.
I could stare at the Sun this morning because of the atmospheric conditions. Everything was just right for bright yellow reflections on the water.
I liked the cloud formation this early morning.
There was something about the layers of clouds that attracted my attention during my morning walk.
The tide keeps moving this large piece of driftwood around different areas of the beach.
On my walk this morning I was greeted with a not too frequent occurrence, a fog belt towards West Haven in the bright sunlight.
The shoreline of West Haven is masked by the morning fog. This is the view I had from Woodmont Beach.
It's interesting, when looking at the bright sunlight all objects behind look dark.
The reflection off of the water was just as blinding as the actual sun!
Look closely at the water droplets on the grass, each having a reflection of the sun.
As I perceive this scene there is a feeling of peace and tranquility.
This morning's sunrise created a spotlight effect in the cloudy sky and reflected it on the water.
With clouds, wind and sun as paint, a beautiful morning scene emerges.
This scene was just too good to pass up. I like the different formations of small waves coming ashore.
The seagull flew into the frame just as I was about to snap this photo.
The timing was just right to capture the colors of the sky reflecting on the water.
This morning had a combination of different cloud formations and colors. I liked the way the yellow and orange swirls were sandwiched between dark clouds above and below.
A different view of the sunrise taken from an angle below the rocks.
The sun was too bright to stare at this morning. However, with my camera set at 1/8000 second shutter speed I was able to create this photo.
Natures airbrush painting squirrels in the sky with the clouds. Early mornings are always a little different down at the beach.
The windblown flag flying straight out against a colorful morning sky.
Being at the right place at the right time. The before sunrise sky and water were very colorful this morning.
During the end of my early morning walk, I had to stop and take this photo as a memory of a beautiful morning.
A morning walk, a time for peaceful reflections.
The atmospheric conditions were just right for the sun to be seen as a colorful ball at sunrise.
Dramatic clouds over Anchor Beach on this early morning.
The fog in a distance dissipating as the sun starts to break through the clouds.
On this cloudy and windy morning the flag on Signal Rock just seems to stand out more clearly today.
The silhouette of two men and two boys fishing.
A peaceful view of nature and mans rock formations under the bright morning sun.
A colorful morning sun rises over Woodmont Beach.
I like the way the light rays light up the calm water.
This creation in the sky is a combination of unique cloud formations combined with the early morning sun.
My first sunrise photo of Anchor Beach with the new flag pole on Signal Rock. Notice the red sun rays on the rock, which really shows nice on a larger view of this photo. This photo was taken on 3/8/20.
If there are clouds in the sky, sunrises are always quite different. The beauty that awaits those that happened to be in the area.
In this photo I like the reflections of the sky on the nice calm water.
Reflections of the sunrise over the calm water broken up by a string of rocks.
I really like the contrast between the turbulent cloudy sky and the calm peaceful water.
I really enjoy this landscape photo, especially the yellow reflection in the water.
This was a first for me, the sun reflecting on the clouds looked like a search light, lighting up the clouds and water.

Because of the foggy conditions you could stare right at the sun, a nice round ball.
This was a first for me, I never seen anyone fishing from signal rock.
This is really the morning sun as taken by my camera to capture the sun using a 1/640 of a second exposure. Since the exposure was so fast most of the photo is dark.
I liked the way the ground fog started to envelop the green ground cover.
The sun is breaking through as the clouds of a storm front leave.
I combined three different exposures of the same photo to arrive at this strange looking sunrise.
I like the different colors in the water and sky, also the reflection of the clouds in a pool of water by the rocks. The boat also has a nice affect on this photo, this really becomes evident when seen in a larger format.
Due to lack of rain, the grass around the area is very dry and brown. On my morning walk I see this nice lush green grass. This scene really caught my eye.
I now carry my camera during my early morning walks and will stop when something catches my eye. The colorful clouds were too much to pass up this day.
A very different sunrise photo. I like the way this strange looking cloud blocks the view of the sun.

A very peaceful morning with the sun just breaking through the clouds.
This is an HDR photo using a polarizing filter which turns the sun into a star burst.

There were no clouds on this cold winter morning. A brilliant sunrise was worth the time waiting in the cold.

I waited for the sun to break through the clouds this early March morning. However, it never did.

The reflection of the sun on a pool of water was too much to pass up, I had to take this photo. No photo shopping of the sun and the reflection, this was the actual image.

This photo was also taken from Fort Trumbull Beach looking towards Gulf Beach. Notice the difference from the previous photo, “Colorful Dawn At Fort Trumbull Beach”, what a difference when the sun actually rises.

This photo was taken from the sidewalk on New Haven Ave. looking towards Milford Landing. Depending on how you look at it, the water is either flowing toward you or away from you.
The clouds on a hot summer afternoon made this scene looking towards New Haven Ave. really stand out.
